Buckle up because here we go…
Hello everyone. I am starting this blog/journal in order to assist myself in finishing a weight loss campaign that I started last year. I started last year on 1/1 and lost over 100 lbs. by the 5/1. Things were going great. I was feeling great. Eating the right foods and exercising rigorously every day. Then it happened. Had a heart attack and I will save the details about that for another day but I just kind of cruised the rest of the year. Not a good idea. So I am back at it again. I am guessing I weigh about 335 right now. When I started a year ago I was over 400! So here I go and I am looking forward to making new friends as I go down this path again. My goal is to obtain that personal freedom that comes with living in a body that is not overweight.
Just for the record - today I attended a Reebok cycle class and rode for about 45 minutes and then worked out on a eliptical machine for another 35. I am estimating that I burned over 1000 calories this morning. For breakfast I had a small serving of Oatmeal. A salad for lunch. I had a handful of nuts for a snack a little bit ago. Dinner tonight will be lean roast beef and a veggie. My dessert at night is 2 glasses of milk.
I plan on posting my actual weight as soon as I get the data and hopefully will see the number drop steadily over time. Y’all have a great day.
